A workbench made with 3030 T-slots and plywood
A small vacuum former, made with aluminium profiles, a vacuum cleaner, Arduino and ceramic heaters.
This paper is about a worm shaped pneumatic soft robot, which uses a set of actuators to mimic metameres and achieve a peristaltic locomotion, similar to an earthworm.
This paper is about our experience adapting the Duckietown project of the MIT as a second year course for engineering students at the faculty of engineering at Universidad de Chile.
A worm shaped soft robot mostly composed of silicone that crawls through cavities using a peristaltic gait and soft sensors, which help to control the anchoring to the inner walls of the cavities and the movement algorithm. The deformable body and perceptive skin allows the robot to move in uncharted an irregular ducts.

Workshop about Arduino, electronics and 3D Printing aimed at high school students. The objective was to develop a SumoBot, a small wheeled robot which competes against a pair, trying to push it off the arena.
Full week workshop about Arduino, electronics and 3D Printing.
My duty in the Fablab U de Chile is to design, organize and teach brief training courses about digital fabrication and other disciplines asociated with the lab.
We organized an open line follower robot tournament in the engineering faculty, the teams had to make their own robot, so we teach them how.
